Elk Bull Inspects a Cow Canvas Print

An elk bull checks out a cow in Estes Park, Colorado. Elk are one the of the largest members of the deer family. Native Americans called them 'wapiti' or light colored deer. The animals once had a wide range across North America but hunting and human influences now have them found across the western parts of the continent.

My name is Tony and I am a Denver native, a proud veteran of the United States Navy, an IT manager, a weather geek and of course a photographer. My interest in photography started in high school and was spurred on by my parents generously giving me my first SLR for Christmas one year.
