This large bull Moose was grazing in the early morning light soon after sunrise. Colorado is home to the Shiras Moose, a massive animal that can weight over 750 pounds and be more than six feet tall from ground to the top of its head. They are normally quite docile but are easily provoked into defending themselves. Taken at Brainard Lake in Arapaho National Forest, Colorado.
