Description
The setting moon is seen about Mount Fairview in the Lake Louise area of Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. The mountain gets its name from the view that can be seen from its 8,235 foot peak. Fed by glaciers, Lake Louise is an extraordinary sight to behold. Its clear waters provide perfect reflections on a calm day with snow-capped mountain peaks around it. Named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, daughter of Queen Victoria, its green waters get their color from rock flour scoured from rocks above the lake.
